Hell's Bells by Harold R. Hungerford

"Hello –

I am really happy to share this announcement with you!

Three or four years ago, several friends approached me and encouraged me to write a memoir.

A memoir? What would this include?

At first, I was resistant to the idea of writing a memoir. However, as I thought about the possibility, I recalled my early years growing up along the banks of the Kankakee River, and the characters who influenced and shaped me. The memories flooded in, some causing me to chuckle, some to shake my head, and more then one, to feel sadness.

But, I did write a memoir. It is called Hell’s Bells, and it is a 200-page collection of stories from different times in my life, along with some of my favorite photographs. I am sending this notice to you because you have played an important part in my life, and I hope you would enjoy reading the book. My publisher, Ben Watts, tells me that this is the best book of this type he has ever seen.

Hell’s Bells is available from Stipes Publishing Company in Champaign, IL.

I really hope you enjoy reading my memoir.

Harold
